(Click on the picture to read more) Nicole and Tyler were happily married on May 28, 2022 at the Church of the Holy Comforter and celebrated with friends and family at James Monroe’s Highland. James Monroe’s Highland is a historic former plantation, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Highland was a working plantation in the early American economy, and home of fifth president, James Monroe. It now offers spectacular historic houses with adjacent gardens, and spacious locations for both wedding ceremonies and receptions.

It was perfect weather for Nicole and Tyler, clear skies and great weather. Highland has a great pavilion for outdoor events and has amazing views of the surrounding hills and Blue Ridge Mountains.

It was such an honor to see the crowd dancing all night long. We played a wide range of music. Half of the family was Guatemalan and so we played a variety of Latin music, such as La Vida Es Un Carnaval by Celia Cruz. At one point in the night, they started their own conga line!
