March Wedding at The Boar's Head Resort

Lauren & Luke couldn’t have gotten a more beautiful day for their elegant Boar’s Head Resort wedding.

Lauren & Luke expected to be inside for a March wedding, but were happily surprised by 70+ degree weather, perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The ceremony was beautifully done, with stunning floral arrangements provided by Willow Branch Flowers and Claire Frances, Sacred Ground Ceremonies, who officiated a wonderful ceremony. Stunning photos were taken by internationally featured Virginia Wedding photographer, Sarah Houston Photography, whom we have had the pleasure of working on many occasions. We also had the joy of working with Melanie Scott, owner and founder of Details & Lace, who provided expert wedding planning and coordination that made Lauren & Luke’s wedding run that much smoother.

Lauren & Luke had a truly unforgettable Boar’s Head Resort wedding, especially with the special visit of Lauren’s grandmother all the way from Germany! You could feel the warmth of the love they received from their friends and family. After the heartfelt speeches and toast, it was time to celebrate!

Music and dancing are always a must for any wedding celebration! As a professional wedding music band, we always make sure to know each of couples and what they envision musically. Lauren and some of her guests were University of Virginia graduates, so we made sure to play the UVA theme song for them. Rocking out to Zombie by The Cranberries was a must on the wedding playlist! Not only was it a favorite of the Lauren & Luke’s, but their guests were loving it too! It definitely got everyone on their feet and singing along (1:26 in the video below).
