Chloe and Mac had a gorgeous Castle Hill Cider spring wedding. They had perfect weather for a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by cocktails. The reception took place in Castle Hill Cider’s spacious barn, which offered an elegant reception setting overlooking the Bluestone Terrace and breathtaking mountain views. Our favorite part of the night was the party! We love seeing guests of all ages enjoy themselves and even join us on stage for their favorite song!

Kaely & Tim celebrated their summer wedding at Farmington Country Club, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Charlottesville, Virginia. Known for its elegant charm and impeccable service, the country club provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Choosing Farmington Country Club as their summer wedding venue was an easy decision for Kaely and Tim. With its sprawling green lawns, stunning architecture, and serene ambiance, the venue offered a blend of sophistication and natural beauty. Guests were welcomed into a world of luxury as they arrived at the club, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Kaely and Tim’s summer wedding was beautifully captured by the talented Jen Fariello. Known for her high-end photography and artistic approach, Jen expertly documented every emotion, from the tender moments during the ceremony to the joyous celebration on the dance floor.

Tupelo Floral Co provided beautiful vibrant blooms and lush greenery to add to the reception ballroom decor. From the delicate bouquets carried by the bridesmaids to the striking centerpieces that adorned the tables, every floral arrangement was a masterpiece for this summer wedding. The bright and cheerful colors complemented Kaely and Tim’s summer theme perfectly, adding a touch of natural elegance.

Kaely and Tim love music and love a good party, so once the introductions were over, we got right to the party! Our role as a professional wedding music band is to ensure that we do everything we can to help make every wedding the wedding our couples dream of!

It’s not every wedding that you get to see a groom play guitar and take the stage with us, but Tim joined us for this special moment . And what a special moment it was! It was so incredible to see the excitement from the crowd for Tim playing “Wild Thing” by The Troggs.

It was a wonderful summer wedding party all throughout the night and we ended it for Kaely and Tim in the sweetest way possible, performing a private last dance. There is something so romantic about a last dance as they allow the couple to share a private moment to savor the precious moments of their wedding day alone.

The Commonwealth Club was perfect for Bridget & Justin’s wedding. The elegant spaces, the sophisticated ballroom, and historical architecture all helped bring Bridget & Justin’s wedding vision to life. What I especially love about this venue is the built-in stage. It gives excellent visibility over the crowd and serves as the ideal spot to enjoy with those lively guests who really know how to liven up the party!

Daisy and Stephen had a beautiful Charlottesville spring wedding with friends and family. April weddings in Charlottesville are gorgeous as we come out of winter weather and the greenery starts showing. The weather couldn’t have been better for Daisy and Stephen. They had a lovely ceremony at Christ Episcopal Church and then a great wedding reception at their private family farm.

The farm was transformed beautifully for this Charlottesville spring wedding reception, you could not even tell you were on a farm. Virginia Tent Rental provided an elegant clear frame tent that offered great views of the surrounding area. Decor from MS Events, Festive Rentals, and gorgeous floral designs by Gregory Britt Design brought the tent and Daisy and Stephen’s vision to life wonderfully. Lighting Professors put the finishing touches to the tent by adding romantic bistro lighting and Moravian stars. The lighting was especially spectacular after the sun went down, it was like dancing under the stars

It was wonderful to work with seasoned wedding planner, Hailey Beard Events, and Meredith Coe Photography for this beautiful Charlottesville spring wedding. As we always aim for a great party with every wedding and event we preform, this was a particularly fun one. Daisy and Stephen had friends and family from all over and when it came time to party, the dance floor was never empty! We particularly enjoyed seeing bride and groom dancing all night long and having a great time!

A Wedding at Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA

HOW GREAT TO HAVE ONE OF OUR COUPLE’S WEDDINGS PICKED UP BY WASHINGTONIAN MAGAZINE. 

Big Ray and the Kool Kats, one of Washington DC’s most popular wedding bands was delighted to celebrate with a couple who clearly loved their dog, Jolene. 

A Parisian-styled wedding with the reception at the Army-Navy Country Club with its views of the city was special enough. 

Big Ray always asks his couples for special selections, songs with special meaning, really anything musical Big Ray and the Kool Kats can do to make their wedding reception special. 

When during a conversation they mentioned that their dog Jolene was a big part of their lives, we knew what we had to do. 

Not in our everyday repertoire, but we love making musical moments. Jolene by Dolly Parton is a great song, and with an introduction so all the wedding guests understood, Big Ray and the Kool Kats launched into it. There was not a dry eye in the house, especially the bride and groom.  Big Ray and the Kool Kats…we make memories.
