One of the top things to do in D.C. is to visit the Smithsonian Institution the world’s largest complex of museums, research, and education, where it houses an expansive collection of objects, art, works, and specimens. Another traditional D.C. adventure consists of touring the famous National Mall, which is America’s most visited park, filed with monuments, memorials, and historic buildings. The best time to visit is late March to early April for the National Cherry Blossom Festival, when the pink blossoms are in bloom. To experience D.C. culture, visit one of the urban neighborhoods and farmers markets.
